with RTE Certification

Course overview

Facilitating Lean-Agile program execution with SAFe® 5 Release Train Engineer Certification

Facilitate and enable end-to-end value delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs)—and learn how to build a high-performing ART by becoming a servant leader and coach—when you become a SAFe® 5 Release Train Engineer (RTE). During this three-day course, gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe enterprise. Through experiential learning, examine the RTE role in a LeanAgile transformation. Learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. Explore how to prepare, plan, and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organisation.

Attending this class prepares you to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE).

What our customers say

Great Course - Highly Recommend

Great course, well structured, presented and organised from start to finish. Excellent support pre the course and for the exam. Highly recommend.

This provides a great overview of SAFe, although you may cover some ground you are already familiar with for example with Agile elements, there is far more content that really helps to provide the context of how agile type delivery can work within a complex hierarchy – and it is important to view this in context of the whole picture. I found the Portfolio elements incredibly valuable and intend to explore further.

Thanks to the team – you did a great job.

Training Attendee,

Great team that deliver on what they say....

I have worked with Leantree on a number of engagements. The quality of the resources always show great knowledge in the Lean Agile SAFe space, but what differentiates them is their ability to clearly understand the clients needs and to work alongside them in delivering rather than simply telling them what needs to be done. They put their words into actions. Look forward to continuing our partnership in the future…

Thank you

I’m just wanted to say a big thank you. I passed my scrum exam which is largely down to your awesome coaching so I wanted to send you a small note to thank you.  You taught me the ways of scrum, so I thought I should let you know 🙂

Leading SAFe - Excellent Course

“Leading SAFe” is an excellent course delivered by knowledgeable and enthusiastic trainers, it provides a great introduction to SAFe. The course was delivered remotely over 2 days, with an individual digital workbook and shared team planning simulations. The frequent breaks built in really helped keep energy levels up.

The overall organisation was excellent with clear instructions and a pre-course session to introduce you to the training portal.

I would recommend this course to anyone that is looking to promote SAFe, join an organisation that has practices SAFe or just wants to know what it is.

At the end of the course I sat my certification exam and passed!

Lean Tree Training - I Passed my exam first time

I selected Lean Tree and completed the Leading Safe course which leads to the Safe 5 Agilist certification. The course was very well constructed, highlighting key concepts and potential areas for the examination. The course was presented via video conferencing and the “10 minute break every hour” format really works. I passed my exam first time following the Lean Tree course, so I can recommend Lean Tree for training.

SAFe for Leaders

Great learning experience, very polished and well thought out. We covered a lot of ground in a structured and digestible format.
